Thanksgiving Stuffing Sausage Balls are exactly how they sound. These delicious little bites are a fun take on the traditional southern sausage ball but made with Thanksgiving stuffing instead of biscuit mix.
Let me tell you about this Thanksgiving Stuffing Sausage Ball recipe!
Okay, when I arrive to my family’s house on Thanksgiving Day, I’m so ready to eat! We usually start our Thanksgiving meal around 1pm. I’d like to know, when do you start thanksgiving? Is it more of a dinner or a lunch? Ours is definitely a lunch. Surely, skipping breakfast in hopes to fill up entirely on all the delicious Thanksgiving foods we get only once a year, is typical! So, when I arrive, I arrive HUNGRY. These Thanksgiving Stuffing Sausage Balls are the perfect little bites to pre-game the big meal. Can you just imagine all the little hands grabbing for these when you bring them to Thanksgiving this year? My cousins will LOVE them, and they aren’t too far off from a traditional thanksgiving dish. Also, it’s hard for me to do anything by the book, so we get these fun appetizers instead of a full casserole dish.
Generally speaking, stuffing and sausage go perfect together and double points if you pair it with cranberry sauce. However, the sausage balls are so perfect on their own.
The fun thing about these Thanksgiving Stuffing Sausage Balls aren’t just for turkey day, they could be for any holiday party. Bring these crowd-pleasers to your next girl’s night, game day, NYE countdown, or holiday potluck- I know I am!
